About Purpose of Position: Business Improvement Analyst Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
As a Business Improvement Analyst, you will provide insight from data analysis on business improvement focus areas across the value chain while supporting the business improvement team with the development of PowerBI Dashboards and relevant Data Projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Provide end to end business and data analysis to the BU to proactively identify business improvement projects
Provide the relevant data and data analysis to support project business cases and programme deep dives
Work closely with the IM, Data Analytics and Digitalisation departments to deliver on business intelligence initiatives
Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
Development of dashboards and process performance reports using PowerBI, Tableau or similar software applications

Anglo American Business Improvement Analyst job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Required:

A relevant Technology, Engineering, Mining or Processing degree or equivalent
Additional preferred qualifications:

PowerBI dashboarding qualification
Certification in business improvement methodology (e.g. Green Belt)
Data Analytics / Statistics
Experience:

3 to 5 years’ experience in Business Improvement and data-driven projects
Ability to analyse numerical data and all other sources of information
Experience in developing dashboards in PowerBI, or similar software applications.
Demonstrated experience in providing solutions to optimise productivity and quality targets by utilising technical expertise and cooperating with multi-disciplinary teams to highlight and address areas of improvement
Demonstrated experience in acting as a change agent and champion – developing tools and methodologies as well as initiating and leading change
Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business to enhance the business’ competitive edge
Data analysis
Business Process Modelling
Business improvement tools and techniques
Project Management methodologies and tools
Experience of Anglo-American operating model advantageous
