Anglo American Control Engineer Job Requirements

Anglo American Control Engineer job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
BSc Engineering in appropriate field or other appropriate Tertiary Qualification
EXPERIENCE

3 years Post Qualification experience with experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of control solutions
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Advanced Computer literacy
Valid code 08 license
Experience with reporting applications such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
Experience with relational SQL databases, including SSIS and SSRS
Experience working with OSIsoft PI systems
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc. would be preferred
Experience in minerals processing covering concentrating, smelting and refining would be preferred
Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, etc.

Control Engineer Job Responsibility for Anglo American Job Vacancy

As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Support of both the Lead and Senior Engineers to ensure that process control projects are executed on-time and meet the required performance criteria
Responsible to ensure that they liaise closely with the technical support staff on the operating units to minimize critical failures of the process control solution.
Act as the first line support to the operating units and execute projects as directed
Operational process control performance review

Audit control solution to establish performance and seek for opportunities for further improvement & capture findings
Accurate communications to operational units
Design & Implementation of control solutions

Detail design and testing of control solutions (FAT/SAT)
Commissioning of control solutions as part of a commissioning team
Documenting solution to facilitate technology transfer
Seeking for improvements
Assist in training of resources

Clear and accurate communication with the production units and other end users of the technology
Capturing of the process controls solution in design and functional specifications to ensure technology transfer
Assisting in specific training modules applicable to the technology area
