Job Description:
As anEngineering Supervisor, you will be ensuring consistency with agreed performance standards that are in-line with the operating master schedule of the broader operation/site as required and your responsibilities will include:

Delivering the shift plan within the context of the weekly plan and the requirements for the month whilst always considering what is needed to set up oncoming shifts for success.
Planning, implementing, and managing maintenance schedules while taking cognizance of production targets and ensuring minimal production interruption.
Maintaining equipment, machines, processes, and tools in a manner that maximizes availability with the required quality standards.
Identifying improvement opportunities and implementing these where feasible and maintaining the new standards of performance.
Executing QA/QC and inspection of tasks.
Providing technical knowledge and guidance to team members on daily problem solving.
Conducting admin HR work and KPI reporting for team.
Conducting safety investigations.
Complying to the Asset Management policy and systems requirements.
Consistently apply Safety and Health principles in all team interactions and take personal. responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
Act in line and support a purpose-led, high performing culture, applying the company values and principles of inclusion and diversity.

Anglo American Engineering Supervisor Job Requirements

Anglo American Engineering Supervisor job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate.
N4 Engineering Certificate.
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate.
Knowledge of the Anglo American Operating Model Programme.
Valid South African Drivers Licence.
Experience:

5 years operational experience in the mining industry.
2 years’ experience in a Management position.
Exposure to Open Cast Mining with experience of working on Support Equipment Machines is advantageous.
Diagnostic systems (ET or KOMTRAX) experience is advantageous.
