Job Description:
Responsible for operational Environmental Data Reporting
Provide support for Environmental systems
Ensuring receipt of correct Environmental data sheets.
Perform data capturing on the systems.
Review the environmental data captured by Environmental Officers on the SHE system to ensure accuracy.
Identify data errors and correct them.
Generate ad-hoc Environmental reports for management as required.
Compile and submit regular site-specific Environmental reports in preparation for SHE meetings.
Monitor the use and effectiveness of Environmental systems.
Assist in addressing systems and data queries from users.
Review and confirm data integrity on the systems prior to reporting periods.
Update and maintain user access on the system.
Provide on-going support to the system users.
Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure IM stability on Environmental systems.
Maintain Platinum Way Library for the operation.
Verify documentation in Platinum Way libraries conform to Group requirements.
Verify availability of operational standards, procedures and requirements.
Advise employees on the availability of standards and procedures.
Communicate new and changed group standards, procedures and requirements to relevant employees within the department.
Provide general administrative support to the Environmental team.
Participate and assist in the Environmental audits and inspections where required.
Facilitate the scheduling of the relevant training, updating of the training matrix including accurate record keeping.
Coordinate the compilation, distribution and communication of Environment material.
Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
Comply with environmental and social requirements as relevant to discipline
Participate in all team engagements where required

Qualifications:
You must have:

Matric
Relevant qualification (administrative preferable)
Experience required:

3 – 5 years’ experience in similar environment
Mining or Processing working experience will be advantageous
Knowledge and skills:

Knowledge of operational processes within scope of role.
Basic financial metrics, cost and value management & budgeting tools.
Risk management techniques and critical controls.
Leadership tools for implementing a culture of purpose–led high performance and change.
Safety, health and environment, legislative, statutory, regulatory and permitting requirements.
