About Purpose of Position: Financial Accountant Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
Ensure financial reports are accurate and submitted according to the group reporting calendar.
Ensure financial transactions are updated and recorded in the general and subsidiary ledger.
Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness.
Implement and maintain key internal controls to mitigate risk of fraud and error.
Manage cash controls and reporting according to group standards and timelines.
Manage and assist in accounts payables/receivables activity and controls.
Reconciliation and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
Preparation of the interim and year end audit file.
Preparation and submission of department of statistics returns.
Perform company secretarial duties.
Prepare statutory Annual Financial Statements.
Ensure the adherence of the Health and Safety requirements.

Anglo American Financial Accountant Job Requirements

Anglo American Financial Accountant job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
BCom Finance or Accounting Degree essential.
Strong financial accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3-5 years’ financial accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
