Key responsibilities include:

The preparation and submission of the monthly, interim and annual HFM/AFC reporting pack including the annual Financial Statements for DBCM ensuring adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards, company standards and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Collect and analyze financial data for monthly, forecast and budget reporting.
Present data accurately and identify accounting issues, understand and resolve the issues on a timely basis.
In collaboration with the Performance Reporting Function and Operational teams, prepare the appropriate level of analysis with the associated recommendations for executive attention/intervention.
Working with Group Tax to consolidate and ensure timely submission of approved corporate direct and indirect tax returns for DBCM to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting.
Work with the Financial Controller in formulating adequate procedures and controls to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS.
Monitor the interfaces between the Site Finance Teams and Anglo Finance (GSS and Treasury) to ensure these are operating effectively.
Working with the Group Financial Reporting Team, ensuring financial control and governance is maintained including the Compliance Transformation Project (SOX Compliance) for DBCM.
Preparation of ad hoc reporting data requests and accounting papers.
