Job Description:
Your day-to-day duties will include:

Oversee consistent application of Safety & Health principles in all discipline interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities
Develop discipline-specific plans/systems to reduce exposure to discipline-specific risks
Monitor and ensure effectiveness of discipline Safety & Health systems.
Consolidate site discipline inputs, and provide as input into Life of Asset Plan and Resource Development Plan
Assist GM with closing of the Operational Planning cycle.
Ensure consistent process, aligned with Operating Model, is followed for production strategy development.
Ensure consistent process, aligned with Operating Model, is followed for production service strategy development.
Oversee development of site Operating Master Schedules.
Oversee development and setting of Expenditure schedule (alongside Commercial Manager)
Ensure work management process are followed for safe delivery of business outcomes at the site.
Manage an improvement activity pipeline focused on achievement of key operational outcomes and maintenance of the integrity of the Operating Model
This role is at a Band 5 level reporting to the General Manager.

Anglo American Manager IP&OM job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in industrial engineering or equivalent engineering degree (NQF 7)
Six Sigma Black Belt (Advantageous)
Experience

5 – 8 Years of experience within mining/Engineering/ Processing environment
Demonstrated understanding of Project management fundamentals
Business acumen and commercial drivers of site performance
Valid Driver’s license
