About Purpose of Position: Manager Maintenance Execution Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
As Manager Maintenance Execution – Plant, you will be legally appointed 2.13.1 to provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Safety & Health

Promote SHEQ principles in line with Mine Health and Safety Act requirements

Facilitate continual safety audits to check that all safety requirements are being met
Support site visits by internal and external visitors to ensure adherence to site safety systems (including induction)
Performance & Delivery

Oversee and lead maintenance activities and actions in line with asset care strategy
Production Strategy: Contribute to the development of the site production strategy together with the site leadership team and ensure implementation
Service Strategy: Ensure the development and implementation of the site service strategy that delivers/supports the production strategy. Furthermore, ensure that performance measures are in place to verify the service strategy delivery.
Operations Integration of Service Plan: Ensure the alignment/integration of a single site operations plan with other members of the site leadership team.
Long-term asset integrity:
Ensure the implementation of the asset integrity standard as outlined by the Anglo-American Global Requirements for the plant.
Ensure the implementation and sustainability of the asset tactics process across all relevant assets, as outlined by the Anglo-American Global Requirements.
Ensure implementation of AS&R Group governance policies, procedures, and technical standards.
Participate in site development of strategy implementation details (tactics and work packages) for work management.
Responsible for all spheres of Maintenance and engineering within the plant.
Intervene to improve work execution measures that are not stable or capable.
Drive the delivery of sustainability activities as relevant to discipline and set out in the Life of Asset Plan to improve sustainability performance over time.
Develop budgets and manage costs against set budget

Anglo American Manager Maintenance Execution job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Electrical engineering, technical related field. (B-tech, BSC, BEng)
Government Certificate of Compliance (GCC).
Program in Maintenance Management – advantageous
Driver’s License
Experience

Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Project management fundamentals.
New technologies and their impact on operational activities within scope of role.
Principles of how operational processes are classified according to the Operating Model with a focus on Work Management.
Leadership tools for implementing a culture of purpose–led high performance and change.
