Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting lock-out and make sure the lock-out procedure is adhered to as the responsible person
Oversee permit for work and safe making of equipment before maintenance can start
Changing tasks and machine settings within standards on the shift to minimize the effect of unexpected problems
Stopping the operation if the working conditions are unsafe
Adhering to all Safety indicators and safeguarding Team members from a Safety perspective and ensuring high standard of safety in section by conducting safety inspections
Application of procedures
Request material within agreed parameters
Section planning to optimize production and ensuring mitigation of delays or disruptions within the Smelter
Allocation of tasks to team members and ensuring that the team follow the developmental training programmes to maintain competency levels within the plant

Anglo American Process Supervisor Job Requirements

Anglo American Process Supervisor job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Certificates to be attached with your qualification

Grade 12 or equivalent with Maths and Science
Process Supervisor Development Programme – advantageous
Passed Control Room training modules
Passed operational maintenance modules Experience
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

4 years operational experience in smelting and/or processing
Computer literate
Driver’s license
