About Purpose of Position: Project Cost Engineer Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
The incumbent will be involved in all project functions and activities associated with cost engineering/control, project accounting, financial control, change management, planning, scheduling, estimating and reporting.

Focus Areas

Project Cost control, monitoring and reporting.
Establishment, update and implementation of project cost management procedures.
Preparation of Project documentation for Assurance reviews including Management plans associated with Cost management.
Project cost estimation and cost estimate structuring in alignment with project planning.
Establishment and drafting of project basis of estimates.
Cash flow management and forecasting.
Identification of cost and/or schedule related risks and opportunities and general Risk Management support.
Coordinate, manage and report on Change Management Process.
Team time / cost management.
Alignment of project cost management system to the DBM ERP (SAP).
Project financial Close-Outs.

Anglo American Project Cost Engineer job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:

Degree in either Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Accountancy or Commercial with 8 Years working experience, and a minimum of 2 years project cost control experience within a mining, construction or similar field.
Good knowledge and experience of IFRS, SAP (or similar ERP systems) and Project Cost Management Systems (Preferably Prism, but other Cost Management System experience would still be advantageous).
Highly skilled in the Microsoft Office suite.
