About Purpose of Position: Reliability Engineer Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
The Reliability Engineer provides technical leadership and inputs for, as well as coordinates all systematic and ad hoc planning/modelling, analysis and reporting activities aimed at improving the reliability of equipment on the operations. The role performs a service function to the SIB, PMO, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance functions. The role serves as a key interface with various OEM’s and third-party subject matter experts.

You will also be responsible for:

Service Strategy (Maintenance Tactics)
Defect Elimination
Root Cause Analysis investigations and reporting
Projects front end loading
Standards Enforcement and Quality Assurance
Analysis and Improvement
Work Management
Performance/Information Management
Asset & inventory criticality analysis
Training and Development
Maintenance Material Management
Maintenance Facilities and Tools
Supporting the warranty management process
Liaising with various OEM’s and third-party subject matter experts
The incumbent must be able to research and investigate the latest technology trends and propose implementation programs to incorporate these into the business.

Anglo American Reliability Engineer Job Requirements

Anglo American Reliability Engineer job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
NQF level 6 qualification – National Diploma / BTech/BEng/BSc Engineering Degree (Mech, Elec, Industrial)
Post Graduate qualification in Reliability Engineering or Asset Management advantageous
Government Certificate of Competency (Mines and Works) advantageous
