About Purpose of Position: SC Senior Warehouse Controller Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
Some of your duties as a Supply Chain Senior Warehouse Controller will include:

Liaising with customers to arrange suitable material deliveries

Agreed standard delivery schedules with customers at operations.
Liaising with customers on urgent and emergency orders
Arranging direct deliveries from suppliers
Ensures operational efficiency at the site

Adhering to stores operating procedures, to achieve efficiency in the store under the guidance of the Supply Chain Officer/Supply Chain Supervisor. These would include scheduling, receiving, storage, issuing and Materials Handling processes
Verifying quality, condition and correctness of measure of all material received directly from suppliers and from another store
Returning materials where necessary
Ensuring effective and accurate issuing of material from stock – including picking, packing, staging and notification of customers
Issuing fuel and capture consumption information accurately
Applying correct procedures for issuing of emergency and after-hours orders
Undertaking good housekeeping practices at the stores
Keeping records accurately, to ensure integrity of administration systems at the stores
Assisting with GSS queries and action GR/IR discrepancies
Accurately documenting and reporting on transport claims
Verifying consumption of consignment stock
Interacts effectively with customers and Supply Chain colleagues

Realising the importance of good customer service to the Production Units, and behave accordingly
Receiving documents, investigates and responds to customer queries. Meets commitments in respect of response times
Operating with integrity
Ensuring SAP System integrity
Operating all HOP equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly
Supporting delivery of the relevant BU and Group sustainability initiatives and activities
Acting in line and support a purpose-led, high performing culture, applying the company values and principles of inclusion and diversity
Ensuring compliance of the discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements

Anglo American SC Senior Warehouse Controller job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
You must have:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualifications
Material Management Certificate, or equivalent (advantageous)
Please attach copies of Matric Certificate/NQF 4, tertiary qualifications and any other supporting documents
Experience required:

At least 6 months’ experience within a materials management environment in a large operation, utilizing SAP or similar system
