Anglo American Section Manager Reliability Engineering job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Relevant Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical))
Post Graduate qualification in reliability engineering (Advantageous)
Post Graduate qualification in Asset Management (Advantageous)
Requirements:

3 – 5 years’ experience as a Reliability Engineer
5 -8 years’ Management experience in a Mining maintenance environment
Valid driver’s license (Code B)

Section Manager Reliability Engineering Job Responsibility for Anglo American Job Vacancy

As a Section Manager Reliability, your responsibilities will include to:

Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
Collect and summarise the specific risks within working area and implement plans/system to avoid these risks
Manages engineering asset management processes safely, efficiently and cost effectively to meet short term and long-term production objectives.
Implement and update asset management systems for the operations and ensures that equipment replacement strategies are followed.
Ensures optimisation of systems and resources through providing the operations with relevant data and best practices
Ensure the improvement of equipment reliability and life expectancy through diligent Maintenance and Defect Elimination process
Provide specialised engineering technical advice as required and coordinate the development of engineering standards.
Coordinate and analyse audits and benchmarking at operations to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Investigate new technology and benchmark best practices to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
Implement Asset Integrity Tactics, Asset Integrity Risk Monitoring, Audits, Review and classified plant management.
Maintain and implement material management practices to define the SLA requirements between Maintenance and Supply Chain.
Implement all work for maintenance planning as set out by the Anglo-American Global Operating Model and AS&R best practise guidelines.
Implement continuous improvement activities to reach P101 targets.
Support the development of, and ultimately implement, a purpose-led, high-performing culture within the teams that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity.

24/7 Accountability of assigned Engineering Section (including legal & statutory requirements)
Operationally report into Engineering Manager for direction; support; approvals,
Functionally report to HQ Sections for quality guidance and technical support
Safe maintenance execution practices and high-risk work (HRW) procedures.
Value adding contributor to integrated Mine planning and scheduling
Leverage technical expertise knowledge and insights to coach and mentor subordinates
Delivering on integrated mine schedule
Ensure the integrity and credibility of the discipline
Ensure excellent contractor (OEM and service provider) management
This role is in the AS&RMining Maintenance and Services department at a Band 6 level reporting to Manager Engineering
