Anglo American Senior Coordinator Capital Accounting job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
B Com or equivalent financial qualification
Passed accountant specific training module
Experience

5 years’ experience, three of which should be in a mining / mining project environment
Cost control management experience
Competent in mine financial systems and related legislation
Advanced Excel literacy for role including SAP systems
Greater understanding of NPV,IRR, Payback and Hyperion systems will be advantageous
Project accounting
Knowledge and skills

Financial accounting systems
Financial accounting ledger systems
Project systems
Cost control management knowledge
Greater understanding of asset management
Competent in mine financial systems and related legislation
Advanced Excel literacy for role including SAP systems

Senior Coordinator Capital Accounting Job Responsibility for Anglo American Job Vacancy

In fulfilling the Senior Coordinator Capital Accounting role, you will be responsible for translating financial information from Projects into Projects financial management systems and reports for internal and external use as well as monitoring current projects performances and financial information in compliance to IFRS and APW.

Budgets and Planning
Reporting & Analysis on capital expenditure performance of the various projects.
Capital & Cost Control Overview
Forecasting
Financial Accounting
Ensure adherence to corporate governance on projects.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the capital accounting team at operations and corporate project management teams.
Assisting with the financial aspects of Project Management and its associated reporting requirements, in particular embedding a process to monitor and report performance against agreed targets.
Follow up on Audits and close out findings
Train EPCM and subordinates.
Entering or retrieving relevant information
Preparing reports and spreadsheets
Backing up relevant information system data
Capturing relevant information system data
Maintaining information records
Preparing presentations for managers
