Description

Your responsibilities will include:

Liaise with the Section Manager/Mine Overseer to identify new Miners and Shift Supervisor to be trained on basic strata control.
Liaise with the Section Manager/Mine Overseer to identify existing Miners and Shift Supervisor to be trained on basic strata control.
To facilitate basic strata control theory training for Miners and Shift Supervisors.
To undertake regular on the job underground strata control training for Miners and Shift Supervisors.
Knowledge and skill Evaluation of Miners and Shift Supervisors, related to basic strata control
Maintain schedule and data base on Miners and Shift Supervisors trained.
Conduct underground follow-up visits to Miners and Shift Supervisors trained at their workplace to confirm improvement in standards and safety performance

Qualifications:
Grade 12 certificate
Chamber of Mines Strata Control certificate
Experience:

At least three years Strata Control experience
Knowledge and Skills:

Communications skills
Presentation skills
