About Purpose of Position: SHE Officer Jobs at Anglo American Job Description: As an SHE Officer, you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include: Conducting of physical condition inspections as per schedule Inspection of associated documentation Discussing, recording & signoff of findings in logbook Capturing of information on Isometrix & close out of previous findings/ actions Updating inspection schedule. Finalising report and getting signoff and copies of associated docs Follow up on corrective actions Assist the Chief Safety Officer as required Conduct investigations on actual and potential incidents Support actions on the Safety Improvement Plan (SIP) Participation in Safety management (routines, dialogue sessions etc) Conduct Internal Audit in respective areas Participate in Emergency drills (mock-SHE drills) This role is in theSHE & Protection Services Departmentat aBand 7 level,reporting to theSection Manager Safety Plant & Engineering/Mining
Anglo American SHE Officer Job Requirements Anglo American SHE Officer job requirements are following:- Qualifications: Matric National Diploma in Safety Management (essential) Valid South African Drivers license Certificate of training in ISO 45001 & 14001 System Auditing and or Integrated Internal Auditing Advantageous: NEBOSH 2-year qualification SAMTRAC or COMSOC 1 & 2 Trade Certificate SHE REP (MQA certified) Experience: 3 years’ experience in daily safety management in a mine environment (preferable open cast) Knowledge in Contractor Management system (e.g. Passport 360)
