About Purpose of Position: SHE Standards Officer Engineering Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
Draft any new Engineering Governance Documentation as the Engineering Lead.
Draft any new Procedures as per request from Standards review committee.
Draft Management Plans in line with the Risk Management Process and be responsible for the review of current procedures as per Doc Data and Records Management Procedure and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and AAP requirements.
Merging of Engineering Documentation to ensure that there is no duplications.
Ensuring that Engineering documentation in conjunction with the authors are reviewed on time and that no documents are overdue.
Co-ordinate preparation and issuing of new documentation, receive and review requests for amendments and distribute and discuss applicable Gazette changes to management.

Anglo American SHE Standards Officer Engineering job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
You must have:

Grade 12
Relevant Trade Test (Fitter, Electrical, Mechanical – Multi skilled trades will be advantageous).
Experience required:

Extensive Engineering and mining standards and legislative knowledge is required.
5 years’ experience working in UG Mining Environment as an Engineering Coordinator/ Foreman
Computer literate and intermediate level experience in MS Office.
