About Purpose of Position: Shift Supervisor Mining Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
You will take on a range of different production tasks within the Mining Department

Your responsibilities will include:

Daily adherence to the completion of the site-specific Shift Supervisor’s logbook appointed for the area of responsibility (Legal Document).
Comply with organisational and legislation safety requirements by maintaining appropriate practices, standards and procedures.
Conducting accident and incident investigations and implement the necessary precautions to avoid re-occurrence.
Ensure that the Miner/s he is responsible for complies with mine design and practices according to the mining cycle.
Order materials, equipments and ensure that there is no wastage of material.
Monitor and ensure Time and Attendance and relevant payroll matters are handled.
Ensure effective discipline and compliance with the Company disciplinary code.
Adhered to daily, weekly and monthly plan.
This role is in the Mining Department at a C5 Level reporting to the Mine Overseer

Qualifications:
Grade 12
Blasting Certificate
Shift Supervisor Certificate
Certified Competent A & B
