Job Description:
Support the development and management of systems and processes to facilitate the delivery of the mine’s Stakeholder Engagement Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects and programmes and the overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation in line with the social performance strategy through the compilation and analysis of data. Responsible for the updating and maintenance of projects, programmes, plans and systems in the area of responsibility.

Anglo American Social Performance Practitioner job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Education & Experience)

Grade 12 certificate or relevant national NQF level qualification.
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
3 – 5 Years’ Experience in stake holder management,Social investment, Supply developmentand or related field.
Code 08 (B) Driver’s License.
Successfully obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness certificate) on mine.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:

Good understanding of social performance reporting systems
Previous experience in social performance department would be advantageous
Previous experience in Community Health or in the health sector will be advantageous
Experience in mining environment (advantageous)
Track record of being responsible for systems or data management
Experience with data collection and analysis
Demonstrated experience with community engagement
Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and the important role of consistently demonstrating required behaviours and championing safety values
Ability to:
Write reports
Collate and coordinate information
Follow up and close out of outstanding activities
Manage self and achieve results

Social Performance Practitioner Job Responsibility for Anglo American Job Vacancy

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Utilize electronic management systems, such as SAP, Isometrix, Enablon and the Diamond Ambassadors, to collate all Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects and programmes and the overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation statistics and data.
Monitor and analyse all Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects and programmes and the overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation statistics on progress, performance.
Administer the functions of the Community Engagement Forums, Social Investment Steering Committee and all associated sub-committees, such as the Local Area Committee, Sponsorship Committee, Transformation Committee (including the Mining Charter and BBBEE) etc.
Facilitates regular monitoring and evaluation activities for the Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment, Transformation and the overall Social and Labour Plan.
Support the departmental implementation and monitoring of Safety, Health and Environment management systems thereby assisting in Utilize electronic management systems, such as SAP, Isometrix, Enablon and the Diamond Ambassadors, to collate all Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects and programmes and the overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation statistics and data.

Provide feedback and follow up with customers on inputs required for Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects, programmes and overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation reporting.
Conduct quality assurance on data received.
Anticipate and Manage Risks related to Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects, programmes and overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation.
Continually strive to improve Stakeholder Engagement, Mine Community Development, Corporate Social Investment plans, projects, programmes and overall Social and Labour Plan and Transformation reporting.
Assist with the development of metrics to recruit and select ESD beneficiaries at agreed intervals for the ESD Program;
Implement the ESD strategy, processes and methodologies to enable an effective risk and governance and preferential procurement strategic plan;
Assist with the Integration of supply chain processes to ensure that Inclusive procurement strategies are adhered to in the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of ESD through efficient tracking systems and reporting processes.
Liaise and interact with potential clients within the area with an intention of sourcing for new deals for the Hub
Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports of the activities of the Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) Hub reflecting on performance against targets and budget

Provide information about Business Hub service offering to SMME’s directly and through other stakeholders
