Job Description:
Your key responsibilities will include:

Drive the implementation of the SIB master project plan over the life of mine.
Lead and coordinate the Underground Stay in Business (SIB) electrical, control & instrumentation engineering effort to meet DeBeers Group and Anglo-American standards, specifications and procedures throughout the Life of Mine (LOM).
Coordinate and integrate the industrial automation systems implementation and successful deployment within business scope.
Support successful project delivery through installation contractors within cost and schedule baselines.
Assure that all fabrication and construction quality standards are met.
Enhance and maintain integration and teamwork between the various technical disciplines and appointed engineering consultants.

Anglo American Superintendent Projects job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

University degree/Nation Diploma in Electrical and C&I Engineering with a minimum of 6 years’ experience Project, construction, and operational experience in the mining industry. OR
N6 in the field of Electrical or Instrumentation/ Instrument Mechanician with an Instrumentation Mechanician Trade Certificate plus 10 years’ experience in Project, construction, and operational experience in the mining industry
Qualification in Project Management advantageous
Required Experience:

Project, construction, and operational experience in the mining industry.
Technical areas including Mining, Metallurgy, electrical and control & Instrumentation Engineering.
Construction / Engineering project management
Contractor management
Mining Project Development, Execution, Commissioning and Handover;
Leading and Coordinating electrical and control & Instrumentation Engineering.
Additional requirements:

Code B (08) Driver’s License
Successfully obtained a Medical Fitness certificate for underground
The post is dependent on the successful completion of the Company’s pre-employment protocol such as qualifications verification, relevant psychometric and technical assessments and a clear security clearance
