About Purpose of Position: Supply Chain Supervisor Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
As the Supply Chain Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination of the smooth flow of material from Suppliers, internal or external suppliers including Inter-Production Unit transfers into the Distribution Centre/ Main Stores.

Supply and service co-ordination and standard management
Ensure the operational department provides good customer service
Support customers for special orders
Management of Team Relations
Ensure that employees have clear work expectations and plans
Communicate effective with Management
Identify potential conflict situation and minimize the implications
Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding Employee Relations
Legal compliance and management
Ensure that require job instructions area available to employees
Implement and maintain applicable Safety, Regulations, The Act, Codes of Practice and standards
Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports for area
Ensure that accurate labour records including overtime worked are maintained
Support the overall operational management of the Production
Identify opportunities to improve operations

Anglo American Supply Chain Supervisor job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Matric / Grade 12
Relevant Materials Management / Logistics / Supply Chain qualification at degree or national diploma level – Please attach all qualifications.
Valid driver’s license
Experience:

Proven track record in SAP Material Management (SAP MM)
At least 5 years’ experience at supervisory level with a supply/logistics management environment
Logistics Knowledge
Basic business and commercial knowledge
Time management skills
Communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Basic negotiation skills
Must be prepared to work & travel to multiple stores.
Good command of the English language
Must be prepared to work & travel to multiple stores within Mokopane.
