About Purpose of Position: Supply Chain Warehouse Controller Jobs at Anglo American

Job Description:
As the Supply Chain Warehouse Controller, your responsibility may be limited to a specific area with a range of general duties being performed in receiving, warehouse, picking, packing and dispatch in order to effectively provide a service offering a delivery to the end users at the Amandelbult Complex.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Agrees standard operational performance levels with superior in order to meet customer demands at operations.
Liaises with superior regarding urgent and emergency orders being processed or receipted.
Process functional responsibilities in line with need and demand in relation to departmental efficiency levels.
Adheres to operating procedures, to achieve efficiency under the guidance of the Supervisor/ Manager. These would include scheduling, receiving, storage, issuing and Materials Handling processes.
Verifies quality, condition and correctness of measure of all material received stores and dispatched goods.
Returns materials where necessary.
Ensures effective and accurate issuing of material from stock – including picking, packing and notification of customers.
Applies correct procedures for issuing of emergency and after-hours orders.
Undertakes good housekeeping practices.
Assistance with GSS queries and action GR/IR discrepancies.
Makes suggestions for improvement in operations.
Ensures accurate date input into the SAP system.

Anglo American Supply Chain Warehouse Controller Job Requirements

Anglo American Supply Chain Warehouse Controller job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
Matric or equivalent
Material Management Certificate, or equivalent advantageous
Experience:

At least 6 months experience within a materials management environment in a large operation, utilizing SAP or similar system
Knowledge and skills

Valid driver’s license code 8
Fully trained and experienced to across all aspects of supply management, inbound, warehouse and outbound functions
