Anglo American Systems Support Analyst job requirements are following:-

Qualifications:
National Diploma in Information Technology / Industrial Engineering or related fields of study
Knowledge and experience required:

High quality customer service delivery and collaboration principles.
Specific IM field controls and risk mitigation.
The Core Diamond application would be an advantage (AX, Product Catalogue, Split Control System & Special Stones System)
Mining industry experience would be an advantage.

Systems Support Analyst Job Responsibility for Anglo American Job Vacancy

The IM Analyst: AX Support is accountable to ensure the run of new systems, enhancement of existing systems and monitoring of the overall systems environments within the systems application environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide support for maintenance, upgrades and implementation of AX systems in the Midstream environment.
Assist customers to optimize use of the AX and Special Stones systems.
Administer AX applications training and maintain user training materials as required.
Work with functional specialist and business analyst to align technical solutions to business requirements and needs.
Participate in design reviews and audits to ensure objectives are met and standards are followed for the systems in scope.
Monitor the adoption of best practice and the use of standard systems and solutions for the defined AX and Special Stones systems as well as interfacing systems.
Work proactively with business users to identify process and task (where appropriate) improvements and propose these to systems teams for consideration.
Comply with application incident and problem management throughout their lifecycle with the Incident and Problem Management Process Owners.
Co-ordinate the development of the test plan and test cases and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing.
Act as a point of contact for service providers in problem solving and investigations related to level 1 and 2 incidents in the Core Diamond (AX, SCS, Product Catalogue and Special Stones System) systems area.
